Biography
Peter Harrap- From the current Dictionary of Art and Artists Post 1945
British Painter (born 1975). His grandfather a political refugee in 1939 from Romania. He studied at Camberwell College of Art (1993), Winchester School of Art (1994-1997). He was elected a Royal Academy Schools graduate in 2004 under Professor Brendan Neiland RA for his role as diector of Young RA(S).He studied lifedrawing under John Lessore (2000-2003) and established a School of Drawing and Painting at Leighton House Museum in 2003 which runs a continuing programme of life drawing and painting.

'Interior with Lilies' (Collection Michel Roux) epitomises his early work. Although the human form has dominated his output Harrap has also executed some cityscapes.
